Steve is one of the founding partners at BBC Law LLP and has developed extensive experience defending clients in a wide range of personal injury and liability matters. His practice includes liquor liability, insurance coverage, motor vehicle matters, property damage claims, and construction-related disputes. He represents a broad spectrum of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, major insurance carriers, self-insured entities, and individuals. Throughout his career, Steve has gained extensive trial experience at all levels in both state and federal courts across Pennsylvania. As a result, he brings a strong understanding of how complex cases are evaluated, litigated, and resolved.
Professional Background & Experience
Prior to entering private practice, Steve worked in the special litigation department at E.I. Dupont Company de Nemours & Company. There, he gained valuable experience handling complex legal matters at a national level.
In addition, Steve is a regular speaker on trial advocacy. He serves as a certified instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and CLM. He also conducts seminars for major insurance companies on legal developments, insurance coverage, and bad faith matters.
Leadership & Judicial Service
Steve has served on the Philadelphia County Rules and Procedure Committee, which is responsible for maintaining and revising the Local Rules of Civil Procedure.
He also regularly serves as a Judge Pro Tempore and Arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. In these roles, he brings practical insight into how disputes are evaluated from both judicial and litigation perspectives.
After his first year of law school, Steve began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Gabriel Krausman in the New York State Supreme Court, Kings County.
